Loftus Peak Pty Limited (“Loftus Peak”) is a global fund manager with a focus on investment in listed disruptive businesses. Loftus Peak seek out companies that are driving, or will be the beneficiaries of, the accelerating pace of change across all industries globally. The Loftus Peak Global Disruption Fund was recently named Best Australian Based Global Equity Manager at the 2023 Australian Fund Manager Awards, having delivered +19%pa after fees since launch in November 2016.
Transaction Summary:
The Trust Company (RE Services) Limited (Perpetual) has agreed to novate management of the Orca Global Disruption Fund from Orca FM to Loftus Peak, who will also provide portfolio advisory services to the Evans and Partners Global Disruption SMAs. Both changes will be effective in early March 2024.
With Loftus Peak as Investment Manager, investors will be accessing a larger, more experienced and market leading global investment capability that is highly respected by participants. And importantly, the investment team will be strengthened by the addition of Raymond Tong, who headed up the team at Orca FM, in the senior role of Head of Research.
