    Fiera Capital Corporation a Canadian independent asset management firm, has reached an agreement on the terms of a recommended cash transaction to acquire the entire share capital of Charlemagne Capital Limited, an independent emerging and frontiers markets asset manager. The transaction will provide Fiera Capital with an entry into the emerging and frontier markets asset class and create a European platform to enhance the growth and distribution of Fiera Capital’s existing investment strategies. As part of the transaction, Fiera Capital intends to preserve the existing Charlemagne Capital business model, investment process and philosophy with the objective of retaining all key investment professionals / senior management, as well as support the growth of the business.
