Scott co-leads Berkshire’s Wealth Management practice.

Scott joined Berkshire in 2005 and has over 40 years industry experience. Having extensive experience in the New York market in corporate finance, a wide range of M&A transactions in the asset management and insurance industries, Scott is now based in Florida covering our southeast regional efforts. Notable transactions completed in the Southeast region include: recapitalization of Argent Trust, financing for the wealth operations of Warren Averett Accountants and Advisors; advice on recapitalization for Argent Trust; and sale of trust operations of Hibernia Bank a subsidiary of Capital One.

Scott takes an advisory approach with clients. He advises clients on a range of strategic alternatives rather than simply recommending one choice. His transaction experience has included raising capital for clients, providing advice on corporate development alternatives and finding the right capital or strategic partner.
