CPA has participated in over $10 billion in transactions since its inception. CPA, founded in 2006 by Mr. Washburn, Managing Partner, Stan Baty, Managing Partner, and Dan Baty, identified a need to deliver institutional-level alternative investment management in the Pacific Northwest. The firm leverages the founders’ extensive experience in real estate and private markets investments.

CI Financial Corp. is an independent company offering global asset management and wealth management advisory services. CI managed and advised on approximately C$338.1 billion (US$264.6 billion) in client assets as at November 30, 2021.

Transaction Summary:
Columbia Pacific will deepen CI’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and on the West Coast, following CI’s October agreement to invest in McCutchen Group, LLC, a Seattle-based registered investment advisor focused on ultra-high-net-worth clients. The transaction also allows Columbia Pacific to scale leveraging CI’s broad infrastructure and expertise.
